He has done it again folks. JJ Abrams, television and film extraordinaire, has impressed me, yet again with his most recent film Star Trek. I went to see the film last night ( a little too late, I know, but better late than never, right?) after learning that my parents had seen the film while I was gone camping and loved it. Amee and I went and saw it, and while she was a little overwhelmed by the large amount of science fiction, we both thoroughly enjoyed the film. The best character by far was Mr.Scott played by Simon Pegg. He was hilarious. I especially loved when his sole concern for the future was whether or not the future has sandwiches. How brilliant. Of course Chris Pine, who played Kirk was quite attractive as well! I hope I get to see them at Comic Con this summer. That would be terribly exciting.

Haha... I haven't seen the television show either. I kinda jumped on the bandwagon a little too late. Oh well. Better late than never right?? You should definitely still go and see the movie...
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie, too! Spock was my favorite. I think Adrams did a good job modernizing the story for a younger crowd, but was still faithful to the old show (as far as I know) for long-time fans. Would we really be able to see them at Comic-Con???
ReplyDeleteThey might not be there just because the movie has already come out. I know they were there last year, but they might be there for DVD releases and stuff. Who knows! Here is to hoping!! We at least get to see Spock cuz Zachary Quinto will be there for Heroes...
